With all of the different choices of movies available, from full screen to wide screen to blu-ray, how does a person know what to choose? Easy – you opt for your own movie downloads!
What is a quality movie download?
There is probably a lot of technical jargon you could learn in order to tell what constitutes a high quality movie over a lower quality one. This blog is not for high technical jargon, but instead easier layman’s terms for you to understand.
Signs of a good movie download
1. The KBs on the file size information should be relatively high. At least higher than any of your other word, excel or picture files. If the KB or even MB size is very small, you might not have downloaded it correctly or the file download was interrupted somehow.
2. While watching the movie, you can hear it! The sound is good, with no squawking, scratching or high pitched squeals as you try to watch a movie. Better yet, the sound matches the movement on the actor’s lips.
3. The movie download site where you are downloading from has very good user ratings. The ratings given by other users is a tell tale sign of the site and what it has to offer you. When a site has bad ratings, you might want to investigate a little further as to why they have the lower ratings. Is it one disgruntled downloader who skewed their whole rating system? Or is every user ticked off for some reason? Investigate before paying.
4. You can actually see the picture. The image is clear, the right contrast, the right brightness and the right color. There isn’t a black line through the middle of the film (pirated copies will have fun stuff like that). There isn’t a strip along the bottom or top of the movie stating what production company it was released by (review copies to press look like that).
5. The movie actually plays, has sound and correct images all at the same time. When all of those elements come together, you know your movie downloads were a success!
