But, anyone with little boys in the house can surely recognize the excitement for these technological heroes. After all, the premises are too great ideas rolled into one type of character.

So many little boys love cars. As toddlers they somehow learn how to make the noises associated with motors and speed. Matchbox cars and any toy with wheels are scattered all over the house. If Mom is not carefully watching, the yard will soon be littered with toy vehicles, makeshift ramps and runs, and anything to make the play a little more exciting.

Likewise, what youngster does not like superhero action figures? The toys must be pretty popular. The stores are inundated with all the characters and accessories to make playtime that much more thrilling. Plus, just in case a child might miss the latest and best action toy, cartoon commercials are sure to pass the word around.

Then, the transformer is introduced to the public. Wow! Two of the greatest toys for little boys all rolled into one great toy! In fact, collect all of the different characters and have battles and victories galore. For the true transformer fan, one is definitely not enough! The more the merrier!

For the child who is a diehard fan, all other toys seem to pale in comparison. All new transformers come with pages of instructions on how to put them together and make them transform from vehicle to robot mode. By the time a kid gets the second or third addition to his transformer collection, forget the instructions! How to assemble these pretend heroes seems to come natural. To a parent’s amazement, the transformation only takes seconds to change, and the child essential has two toys in one.
