At first glimpse, this may sound like a movie - weather situation. But in reality, it is not that messy. Movie torrents are very high tech, meant for users with fast connections and speed on their computers.
A movie torrent stems from a location called a BitTorrent. A BitTorrent is designed for peer to peer use of large files on a fast modem speed. And the fast speed doesn’t just mean cable or DSL connections, but the super speedy ones that public facilities and educational house use, like T1 and T3’s. A BitTorrent is needed in order to download the larger torrent files. Before you can download from movie torrents, you need to see what your computer system’s capability is. If you are on dial up, it won’t work for you. A very fast DSL connection might work, but you will need to check before committing to them. T1 and T3 connections work the best and are the most reliable, for the downloader and the downloadee. In order to find a movie torrent, you need to do a search for a site that offers them. Some will be free access, while others may charge a fee to join. If you find a site that has what movies you want, start clicking away. There won’t be a queu to wait for your turn to download, as it will be direct to an available computer. Other terms you need to know regarding movie torrents. If you offer torrents, when a person has downloaded from you, and their file is complete, a thread will remain open until you click on finish. This is called a seed.
Your system will keep track of all the URL’s that have downloaded from you in the past. This is called the tracker. When you log on, you can access any one of them for something you want for your own use.
A lecher is a person who is in the process of downloading a file from you. Once their file is complete, they turn in to the seed (see above).
Movie torrents sound complicated, but in reality they aren’t. It is just a matter of having the right system and setting up your torrents and waiting to share and download.
