Okay, I guess this is some kind of shameful secret or whatever, but I'm a guy, and I don't get what the deal is about Carmen Electra.

A couple weeks back I was watching hockey with some buddies and one of her stupid-ass commercials came on, and that started it. How much all of them wanted to bang her, how hot she was, blah blah blah. Not claiming that I'm better than the baser impulses. There's plenty of women I'd like to bang, too. But...her? Really?

I dunno. She just looks plastic to me. And too...surgically modified. Skanky. And what has she done, anyway? She was in Playboy a bunch of times and was in some crappy reality TV and hosted some lame game shows and was married to Dennis Rodman (wtf?).

I was stupid enough to say out loud that Carmen Electra did nothing for me, and was mocked for the rest of the stupid hockey game by my buddies who went on to make the predictable "what are you, gay or something" jokes. Is it so terrible? Does it mean I'm not a "real guy" or whatever because that whole Pamela Anderson-Carmen Electra-Kim Kardashian group of fake-looking women with fake boobs and scary eye makeup don't do it for me? Give me Jessica Alba or Scarlett Johanson any day of the week.

It's like a human blow-up doll where you can imagine that there wouldn't be a thought in its empty little head and would exist only for your pleasure. Which is kind of sick, man.

Of course, for all I know, Carmen Electra is secretly some kind of Rhoads scholar and reads Proust on the weekend and only puts forth that skanky-ho image because it made her famous and now she's laughing all the way to the bank. And you know what? If that were true I would kind of love that.

Now that would be hot.

I know I'm a girl and probably am not allowed to chime in but really, I appreciate a beautiful woman as much as the next guy (note I'm not a lesbian).

There are some extremely hot women in Hollywood:

Allysa Milano -Hot
Natalie Portman -Hot
Mila Jovavich -Hot (especially in Resident Evil and Ultraviolet)

Pamela Anderson and Carmen Electra -Not so much

Seriously, I agree, just go buy a blow-up doll if you want a plastic girl. And to all those girls in Hollywood, You have money. If you're gonna get plastic surgery, for gods sake, get good plastic surgery!

I have never liked Carmen Electra, and never really got what was so hot about her. People have also told me it's because I'm a girl, but at the same time, I'm very much into girls so I don't think that's really a valid excuse. I think Carmen is better looking than Pamela Anderson, but neither of them are hot.

Not trying to bash men, but many think the same way ( you are one of the few exceptions :) ). If a girl is tanned with big boobs and a small waist, then most guys will think she is hot and want to "bang" her. I don't too much care for Carmen Electra either, but there are one or two movies that I have seen her in where she did a decent enough job, at least better than I thought she would.

TizzyWinkle2,

You are too funny! I completely agree with you as well. I never understood what men see in totally made up women such as Carmen Electra and Pamela Lee when there are so many natural beauties out there. I'm a straight, married woman but if I were a guy I would go for the natural beauty with a brain. My picks would be Salma Hayek, Ashley Judd, Angela Bassett or Emma Thomson.

Hollywood seems to manufacture these blown-up dolls a lot. From Marilyn Monroe to Anna Nicole Smith, what do people see in women like that ?

Even though she's had a few too many surgical procedures done, I still think she looks more natural looking than Pamela Anderson. I know this is totally off topic, but I sort of took a liking to her when I read about her mom and sister dying within months of one another. The article made her seem really sweet and kindhearted.

I barely even recognize Carmen Electra. She's not the same girl she used to be, but I never found her all that hot even back in the day.

She does seem a bit on the plastic side.
I agree with berlyn about Alyssa Milano, Natalie Portman and Milla Jovovich, as well as with ona about Salma Hayek.

Carmen Electra and Pamela Anderson have never really struck me as 'all that'. Something about them just isn't to my taste, but to each their own.
