I figured out what's so wrong with Smallville : Movie Downloads

I've been trying to figure out what it is about Smallville DVD that I don't like, aside from it being aimed at an 18-25 audience, and I think I hit the crux of the issue; clark is an abusive boyfriend. Let's disregard for a moment the canon arguments, the chlois stuff, lana, even lex - let's talk about the way the character is in the show. Taking from the basis of how we regard superman, we know he has a high moral code, and we know that he constantly comesw down hard on members of the JLA, but take for a moment the way he's treated other members of the show; Lex is 10 times more screwed up than he already was because of clark, lana is manipulative and deceitful, admittedly out of a combination of both clark and lex, but the prime example here is chloe.

Chloe is, ladies and gentleman, an abused housewife. she has been battered and broken emotionally, so much so that she's dependent on being in a relationship to validate herself; she's constantly belittled and accused by clark, moralised at by him, and held up to a standard no person could hope to live up to.

Clark is a pathological liar for the most part, and I doubt this will change over the coming season...In fact, I predict it will only get worse. What's next for him? alcoholism? drug addiction?
