Heroes confused me : Movies

Hi, guys. I feel confusing about ]Heroes; can you explain it for me?
Does anyone else find it stupid and irritating that despite the fact that Claire saved her adopted dad with her blood no one thought to do the same for bio-dad after he bled out? This happened back in Heroes season 2 when suresh shot Noah in the eye. You'd think they would tranq Sylar and cut his damn head off! Idiots Sylar has run his course and they should revive the real Nathan. Decent writing up until the season finale. So that's my rant.
Is this bug of Heroes？
