News of a major Heroes DVD cast member -- a mainstay from the start of the series -- being written out of the show has been spreading, after Deadline Hollywood gave away the identity of the actor who will be leaving the series. The Office DVD Box Set

Alright, still with me? Okay, multiple sources, including Eonline's Kristin Dos Santos are confirming Adrian Pasdar has been permanently written out of Heroes DVD . What makes this strange for current viewers of Heroes DVD is that E!, among other outlets, is talking about Pasdar being "killed off" of the show – except his character, Nathan Petrelli, has been dead for months, following the events of the Season 3 finale. EW.com's Michael Ausiello has now confirmed Pasdar is who he was referring to in a recent Blind Item story about an actor on a series discovering he was being written out only by reading a script, with no warning from the writer/producers. My guess? There is indeed some big final scene coming for Pasdar, that wraps up the Sylar/Nathan storyline completely – and this is being referred to as a death scene by various outlets, though technically it's not.
