The latest Vanity Fair photo shoot and all the fuss in the press releases makes me really wonder. Her family approved the pictures after the shoot. After all it was digital and they didn't have to wait for the film to even be developed.

At the same time though she is a teen movie star. I wonder if her family led her right or just saw money signs? Is she really innocent or just being guided wrongly?

I think the bottom line in all of this is controversy sells. It always has. I see nothing wrong with the photo. I can remember it wasn't all that long ago that Spears was slinging Pepsi in a school girls uniform. If she hadn't have done things like that, who knows if her career would have gone anywhere.
Cyrus, even though a teenager, was grown up enough to pose for the photo, her family supported it, and the controversy has probably boosted her google search hits by the millions. I personally think it was a marketing tactic.

I believe that she is being led seriously astray by her family (who are supposed to be protecting her) and Disney. I think the Vanity Fair photos and the random shameful amateur pics strewn across the internet are indeed a marketing ploy and hopefully it blows up in their faces before it ruins her life. If she were making these decisions on her own then one would hope that her family would then step in and say no thats not going to be good for you, but there not so one has to believe they are in on it. I really doubt that all of her millions are being saved back for her to live on when she gets older. Oh, and wouldnt this be considered at least a mild form of child exploitation?

According to her father, he had already left the set when those pictures were taken and didn't know anything about it. I think his daughter, being as young as she is, just thought that she should do what she was asked to do by the photographer. Fifteen-year-old kids are vulnerable and way too trusting of adults. I sincerely believe that she is sorry for ever doing that shoot.

I think Miley Cyrus is absolutely a beautiful girl. There has been so much controversy over pictures of her that are floating around the net although I am not sure anyone has proven that they were really her. The vanity fair photo shoot was done professionally but I still think at 15, the photos were too revealing. She does represent Disney after all and they are geared towards young kids.

Miley is a very pretty girl and talented young actress. I think the key word here is"young." I saw the Vanity Fair pics and even though they were done quite tastefully, I don't think they were appropriate for a child actress/singer whom alot of young girls look up to. I have a six year old daughter myself, and I'm sure she would've been shocked to see those VF pics of "Hannah Montana." I just hope that fame is not making this swet young girl grow up to fast.

I personally feel that Miley did nothing wrong, it is art, people are just going to use the controversy for their own means which is extremely sad, Its saddening when artistic expression is misrepresented and taken out of context.
