| I know that has got to be a movie out there for all of you that real touched you. I know I have a few that really got to me. Some of the ones that got to me a little were Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Hero, Ghost , etc. I am just a big baby. lol My absolute top of the tearjerker list is A Walk to Remember it was so sweet. What are some you thought was the saddest ?
YEAH.everyone MUST has experience crying in front of the screen and wasted a lot of tissue for it=p honestly,my saddest movie ever is a walk to remember too. It made me cry and dream of it all night long.haha
Secondhand Lions made me cry; it was a truly great movie. In the end when he leaves his mom and runs back to the ranch; I can't explain it - it's amazing. Anyone who hasn't seen it needs to see it!
I have to say that I recently saw Stephen King's the Mist, and the ending really did make me cry. I just couldn't actually believe that the father would do it, and I was even more shocked with the surprise ending.
I am going to come out and admit it, I cried all the way through Titanic, especially when the old couple was huddled in the bed together as the water rushed in, or when Rose was being lowered down in the life boat and Jack was staring down at her, and when Rose decided to throw her necklace overboard at the very end.
I have never seen "A Walk to Remember", but I'll check it out the next time I am up for a good cry!
There are more than one on my list... And it is hard to pick one to share about here, but I will try...
Okay, this one. "The Majestic" with Jim Carrey, has anyone seen it? It is a very unusual movie for Jim Carrey, he plays a man who loses his memory after a car accident and gets mistaken for a soldier who was missing in action - most people in town think him dead, but now he returns... That is, Jim Carrey's character, but the townsfolk think it's Luke, the soldier. Luke's father is the first one to "recognize" him. The movie is not really a tear-jerker, but there is a moment that made me cry - when the old man, Luke's father, dies. He still thinks he is reunited with his son, but Jim Carrey has remembered his past, and wants to tell him the truth... that he isn't his son... and then chooses not to.
One movie that makes me cry is "8 Seconds". I grew up around bull riding so I was really interested back when I first saw the movie, but at the end when Lane Frost dies it is really sad. What is even more of a tear jerker is when his dad breaks down because he can't remember ever telling his son that he loved him. Very sad movie at the end.
One movie that always makes me cry as odd as it seems is "Click" I know it's a comedy but that ending scene is just so sad. It made me like Adam Sandler even more for putting something really serious in one of his movies. By the way it's an awsome movie.
I have a lot of movies that have made me cry...then I feel kind of er...dumb at some of them. "Click" made me cry too, by the way. The one that was by far the worst was one I accidentally chose to take my granddaughter to go see at the theater, and if I had known it was going to be such a tearjerker, I wouldn't have seen it in public....that one was "Bridge to Terabithia". Oh man....I didn't realize one of the main characters that you grow to love during the movie would be taken out like that, and it hit me sooooo bad!! My granddaughter wanted to see it again, and she took my hubby...Papa....and he cried too!! Maybe she just wanted to see us both cry...heh, heh.
