The 81st annual Academy Awards was an extraordinary event, and after the show Nicole Richie and Joel Madden were spotted hitting up a swanky post-Oscar shindig.

The “Simple Life” mama and her boyfriend/babydaddy headed over to the Sunset Tower Hotel to partake in the Vanity Fair soiree.
