There's a big change behind the scenes at ABC's new series V, as TheWrap.com reports that a new showrunner has taken over. The Shield 1-7 DVD Boxset
Scott Rosenbaum is the new showrunner, taking over the position previously held by Scott Peters, who wrote the pilot episode airing tonight. Rosenbaum, who previously worked on The Shield 1-7 DVD Boxset and Chuck Seasons 1-2 DVD Boxset, will be the showrunner for V going forward – four episodes have been produced so far. V is produced by Warner Bros, with whom Rosenbaum is also developing a new sci-fi/western project for FOX.

TheWrap.com's initial report implied that Peters was leaving the show, but the Hollywood Reporter now says Peters will remain on the series as an executive producer. This change comes right as V is set to premiere tonight, to mostly strong reviews – including my own. The Hills Seasons 1-5 DVD BoxsetThe show has a ton of promise, so here's hoping the behind the scenes issues (which included a shut down in production this fall) doesn't impair what viewers see on screen.
