So stallone did the last Rocky movie which I have to say really impressed me not only because of his age but the quality of the movie that he put together. It shows that he can not only be part of a good movie but has the talent to create one. This guy has broken the mold and he is a super star, even his new movie rambo was decent, not great but still really good quality. do you think he still has what it takes to be a great action star at his age?

As much as I love Sylvester Stallone, I think it is time to retire before he start getting compared to Steven Sagal. My favorite Stallone movie is Cliff Hanger.

I think that if anyone has a shot at being an older action star, then it would be him. Of course, he is not in his prime like he used to be, but he does a great job even at his age. The problem is that people always compare him now to his younger years. And of course he is not going to be as fit and as young as he was in his older movies. But he is doing an excellent job considering his age.

In fact, his age may work out to his advantage. Stage makeup can age a person, but it's never as convincing as real aging. The latest Rambo movie was pretty good too. You could clearly see the sadness and anger in his eyes. He's no longer as himbo-ish as he was in the first one.

I have to agree with others. Stallone's age only enhances his current performances. He is one fascinating man that has definitely aged very well. There will never be another like Stallone.

Nobody can take anything away from Stallone. Stallone is a true pioneer & innovator. He is not only an actor but a writer. That sets him apart tremendously. Stallone is an movie icon that has proven himself time & time again...both i his younger and older years. Most actors can't pull off that type of longevity with continuous commercial draw. It won't be easy for anyone to fill Stallone's shoes - You can bet your last movie dollar on that.

I have always loved Sylvester Stallone! I've been a dedicated fan of all the "Rockys". I think he gives 100% in every role he does. However, one of my all time fave Stallone movies wasn't quite the hit that some of his others were. That was "Over the Top." I think he and the young boy who played his son made their roles so believable.

Didn't he get caught with Human Growth Hormones? I think it was a whole case of it, at least. Wonder how he's aging so well?

Do you really think he's aging well? In that boat scene in Rambo you saw how much his face was wrinkling and how he was growing old.

But it is really amazing how everyone though he was an idiot because of his Rocky and Rambo characters - but let's face it - the man wrote each and every one of those movies! Quite amazing.

He even got a lot of pip-squeak italian guys starting fights after the Rocky movies? Remember that bit in Eddie Murphy's RAW?
