In the ancient Battle of Thermopylae, King Leonidas and his god-like warriors of 300 Spartans prove themselfs of their names by sacrificing all they had. They place their lives into the hand of death, which sparked a unification amongst the Greek to fight with a heart larger than themselves against the Persian empire. This began the hope for democracy throughout Greece. Despite the bravery throughout 300 movie, it could not be call sophisticated at all. The movie 300 was also blood thirsty mad with lots of sexuality.

Todd Gilchrist from IGN Movies expresses his vast amount pride for 300 movie with excitement. He writes that the movie is like none anyone has seen, with Zack Snyder's genius use of modern technology and creative story telling of this near supernatural myth. The writer goes ahead to give the movie 300 5/5 stars.

Andrew Wright at the The Stranger in Seattle, WA was not thrill at 300 movie. He believes that heroism was over done and excessive, which I can see his point. But this is precisely why many fans loved it.

Gianni Truzzi, a movie critic from Seattle Post-Intelligencer, gives 300 movie a B+. He was apparently impressed with how the graphic violence was brought to the screen with the use of PC stimulated graphics.

All in all, both fans and movie critics loved 300 intensely. I thought the movie had a decent overall message but not suitable for young kids nor adults. It just had far to much sex, nudity & violence.
